Enterprise password manager

The enterprise password manager your workforce won't even know they're using.

My1Login stores, creates and fills in the passwords for every work app, from cloud tools to old Windows software. IT sets the rules and sees every access. Your workforce opens its apps and is already signed in, without anyone seeing a password they could reuse or give away.

What J. Morgan sees: Xero, already signed in.

A password vault only protects the passwords people choose to put in it.

Most business password managers are personal vaults with an admin screen added. They work for the people who adopt them. My1Login is run by IT, so it covers every account from the day it's switched on.

A typical password manager

  • Each person installs an extension and creates a master password
  • Training and a rollout campaign to get people using it
  • Only each person decides which passwords go in the vault
  • Users can see, copy and reuse passwords
  • Mainly web apps in the browser
  • Leavers may still know the shared passwords

My1Login

  • Nothing to install or sign up for. Your workforce signs in to the directory as normal
  • No training. Every account is covered from day one, guaranteed
  • IT chooses the apps for everyone, lets people add their own, or both
  • Passwords can be hidden and are filled in for them
  • Web, cloud and Windows desktop apps
  • Leavers never knew them

Enterprise password management that IT controls from end to end.

Follow one password through its life: found, created, shared, filled in, logged and finally revoked when someone leaves. IT sets the rules at every step, and nobody in your workforce ever sees the password.

Step 1 · Discovered

Find the apps nobody told IT about.

My1Login detects when your workforce signs in to applications IT doesn't know about, and can learn the credentials they use. One click brings an unknown app under the same policies, password rules and audit trail as everything else.

  • See what's really in use. Unknown apps show up as soon as people start signing in to them.
  • Covered faster. Discovered apps and their credentials are added without setting each one up by hand.

Step 2 · Created

Strong passwords on apps you don't control.

Set a password policy for each external app. My1Login creates long, random, high-entropy passwords that meet it, and changes them when a user reaches the app's change-password page or on a schedule you choose.

  • No weak or reused passwords. Nobody picks their own, so nobody picks "Summer2024!".
  • Changed automatically on cloud apps. Passwords are kept in line with each app's rules without anyone being asked to do it.
Step 3 · Shared

Share accounts without sharing the password.

Give individuals, teams and outside partners access to a shared login, with exactly the rights they need. Someone can use an account without being able to see, change or pass on its password.

  • Fine-grained permissions. Use, view, edit, share onwards and delete, set per person or per group.
  • Time-limited access. Release a login only between set dates, on set days or during working hours, which suits contractors and auditors.
  • Sharing on your terms. Allow admin-to-user sharing only, or let users share with each other where you permit it.
Step 4 · Filled in, never seen

Your workforce can't give away a password it's never seen.

My1Login fills credentials in at the moment of sign-in and keeps them out of sight. A phishing email or a fake sign-in page has nothing to collect, an attacker has no password to hijack an account with, and people who leave walk out without knowing a single company password.

  • Single sign-on for password-based apps. Apps that only accept a username and password get the same one-click sign-in as SAML apps.
  • No password to reuse. Nobody can copy a work password into a personal account, so one breach elsewhere doesn't open your systems.
Step 5 · Logged

A record of who opened what, and when.

Every use of every password is logged, including shared and privileged accounts. When an auditor asks who can reach the payroll system, or something goes wrong, the answer is a report rather than an investigation.

  • Ready-made and custom reports. For compliance reviews, access recertification and incident response.
  • One log for every kind of app. Web, cloud and Windows desktop sign-ins all appear in the same place.
Step 6 · Access revoked

When someone leaves, their access leaves with them.

Disable a leaver in Microsoft Entra ID or Active Directory and My1Login stops signing them in to any app. They never saw the passwords, so there's nothing for them to take with them, and with user provisioning their accounts in connected apps can be removed as well.

  • No passwords walk out of the door. Shared accounts stay safe, because the leaver never knew them.
  • A clear record for the exit review. The audit trail shows every app they used and when they last used it.

And everything else an enterprise password manager should do.

Some of these come with every plan and some depend on the plan you choose.

  • One-time codes filled in

My1Login generates the authenticator codes apps ask for and enters them, so nobody has to reach for their phone.

  • Zero Login

Signing in to your corporate directory signs your workforce in to My1Login automatically, so there's no extra password or master password for anyone to forget.

  • Windows desktop apps too

Covers web, mobile and Windows desktop applications, including older software with no modern sign-in.

  • Step-up and MFA per app

For critical systems, ask users to confirm their directory sign-in or pass an MFA check before a password is released.

  • Zero UI

Nothing for your workforce to learn. My1Login runs in the background and signs people in, so there's no training and no rollout campaign.

  • Several accounts per app

Users who have more than one login for the same app pick the right one from a searchable list.

  • Access by date and time

Release a password only between set dates, on set days and during set hours.

  • SAML and OpenID Connect too

My1Login signs people in to modern SAML and OpenID Connect apps as well, so every app sits under one sign-in. Single sign-on for web

  • "Show password" blocked

My1Login stops the "show password" button on other sites' sign-in pages, so a password people never see stays that way, and leavers can't take it with them.

  • Hidden when shared

Share an account from IT to a person, or between colleagues, without the password ever being shown to anyone.

  • Logins learned as people sign in

My1Login learns sign-in details the first time someone uses an app, so there's nothing to set up by hand.

  • Signed in, no extra clicks

My1Login fills in the username, password and code and submits them, so people aren't clicking through each step. Password managers that fill in codes usually still leave that to the user.

Zero-knowledge encryption

We can't read your passwords. Nobody outside your organization can.

The keys that unlock your stored passwords are only available inside your organization's own network. What My1Login stores is encrypted and unreadable to anyone outside it, and that includes us.

Enterprise password manager questions

What is an enterprise password manager?

It's a tool that stores, creates and fills in the passwords your workforce uses for work apps, under rules set by IT, with a record of who used which account. My1Login also hides passwords from your workforce and fills them in automatically, so it protects everyone rather than only the people who choose to use it.

How is it different from a personal or team password manager?

Personal and team password managers rely on each person installing them, creating a master password and saving their passwords. My1Login is deployed by IT and uses your directory sign-in, so there's nothing for your workforce to set up and every account is covered.

Who decides which apps are covered?

You do. IT can choose the apps that are covered for everyone, let people add their own apps and logins, or combine the two. For example, IT can set up the core business apps while people add the other work apps they use.

What does the adoption guarantee cover?

Adoption is guaranteed wherever the zero-login configuration has been deployed. Every provisioned user who signs in to your corporate directory, such as Microsoft Entra ID or Active Directory, during the contract term counts as adopted. Signing in to the directory signs them in to My1Login automatically, so your workforce doesn't have to enroll in or open My1Login.

Can users see or copy the passwords?

Not if you choose to hide them. My1Login fills hidden passwords in at sign-in, so people can use an account without ever seeing its password.

Can My1Login see our passwords?

No. With zero-knowledge encryption the keys are only available inside your organization's network, so nobody outside it can read your stored passwords, including My1Login.

Can we share an account with a contractor for a limited time?

Yes. You can share a login with a person, a team or a partner, choose exactly what they can do with it, and limit access to set dates, days and times.

Does it work with Windows desktop apps?

Yes. It covers web, mobile and Windows desktop applications, including older software that doesn't support modern single sign-on.

Do we still need single sign-on?

My1Login provides single sign-on for apps that only accept a username and password, as well as SAML and OIDC apps. You can use it for all of them, or to complement single sign-on you already have, such as Microsoft Entra ID.
